Job Purpose 

The Graduate Marketing Assistant supports the marketing team in executing marketing campaigns, coordinating promotional activities, conducting market research, and assisting with content creation. This role provides recent graduates with practical exposure to marketing operations while contributing to brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. 

Key Responsibilities 

Marketing Campaign Support 

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. 
  • Support promotional activities, events, and brand activations. 
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic reports. 

Content & Social Media 

  • Assist in creating marketing content for social media, email campaigns, and website updates. 
  • Schedule and monitor social media posts. 
  • Engage with online audiences and escalate queries where required. 

Market Research 

  • Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and customer preferences. 
  • Compile insights and present findings to the marketing team. 

Administrative Support 

  • Maintain marketing databases and documentation. 
  • Assist with coordination of marketing materials and supplier communication. 
  • Support internal marketing requests from other departments. 

Brand Support 

  • Ensure brand guidelines are followed in all marketing materials. 
  • Assist with internal communications and brand initiatives. 

Requirements 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 

Experience 

  • 0–1 year experience (graduate level). 
  • Internship or project experience in marketing will be advantageous. 

Skills 

  • Basic understanding of marketing principles. 
  • Strong communication and writing skills. 
  • Social media literacy. 
  • Basic knowledge of marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Google Analytics, social platforms).
