Job Description

The Studio Trafficker is responsible for the end-to-end control, planning, and optimisation of production flow across 16 brands.

This role ensures that all creative work is accurately scheduled, produced, quality-checked, and delivered on time, with a strong focus on working at least two weeks ahead, minimising errors, and maintaining consistent output at scale.

This is a high-accountability role requiring strong operational thinking, confidence in decision-making, and the ability to adapt quickly when production or staffing challenges arise.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Workflow Control

  • Own and manage the full production schedule across all brands, channels, and deliverables.
  • Ensure all work is planned a minimum of two weeks in advance, and further ahead where possible.
  • Maintain clear visibility of current, upcoming, and future workloads at all times.
  • Balance priorities across multiple brands without compromising deadlines or quality.

Deadline & Delivery Management

  • Ensure all deadlines are met without exception, escalating risks early and proactively.
  • Identify bottlenecks before they impact delivery and adjust schedules accordingly.
  • Act as the final point of control for production timelines and handovers.

Quality Control & Accuracy

  • Ensure robust quality control processes are followed before work is released.
  • Reduce errors by enforcing checks, version control, and correct briefing alignment.
  • Flag recurring issues and work with Studio Leads to address root causes.

Resource & Capacity Management

  • Ensure effective succession planning across all the teams.
  • Control production output effectively across Designers, Copywriters, and Production teams.
  • Continuously assess team capacity and adjust workloads to prevent burnout or missed deadlines.
  • Think on your feet to resolve staffing gaps, leave coverage, or unexpected workload spikes.
  • Support Studio Management with insights into resourcing needs and production risks.

Communication & Coordination

  • Act as the central communication hub between Studio, Marketing, QA, and Stakeholders.
  • Ensure briefs are clear, timelines are understood, and expectations are aligned.
  • Push back constructively when timelines are unrealistic or compromise quality.

Process Optimisation

  • Continuously improve traffic processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate production trackers, schedules, and reporting documents.
  • Recommend improvements to planning, sequencing, and delivery models as the studio scales.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Trafficker / Traffic Manager / Production Manager in a fast-paced studio or agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-volume, multi-brand production simultaneously.
  • Strong background in deadline-driven environments (digital, marketing, creative, or similar).

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional organisation, prioritisation, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage complexity without losing control or visibility.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and confidence making decisions under pressure.
  • High attention to detail with a zero-tolerance mindset for avoidable errors.
  • Excellent communication skills: Firm, clear, and professional.
  • Comfortable holding teams accountable while remaining collaborative and solution-focused.

Personal Attributes

  • Calm, decisive, and resilient under pressure.
  • Proactive rather than reactive; Anticipates issues before they escalate.
  • Assertive but fair, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Trusted by teams as someone who brings structure, clarity, and stability.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • Production runs smoothly, predictably, and ahead of schedule.
  • Teams know what they are working on, when it’s due, and why it matters.
  • Errors are reduced, rework is minimised, and quality is consistent across brands.
  • Studio leadership has full visibility of workload, risks, and capacity at all times.
